Luxury Portfolio International®, the luxury face of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), has released its spring 2018 magazine. The biannual magazine brings together the best of luxury real estate, goods and experiences from around the world. The magazine is distributed in over 60 countries, on international newsstands and Barnes & Noble domestically.
This edition’s cover features an exceptional opportunity in Damansara Heights, an elite neighborhood in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The three-level residence inside the gated Zephyr Point community was designed by local architecture firm Garis Architects. The open floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows showcase far-ranging southwest views. A spacious retreat area opens to a spa pool and deck.
“Ahead of the LeadingRE 2018 ASEAN Immersion Conference in May, we are giving our membership and their clients a peek at beautiful Kuala Lumpur,” says Paul Boomsma, president of Luxury Portfolio International. “This issue of the magazine combines exotic locales, the latest tech-enabled products and can’t-miss experiences from around the globe, as well as the beautiful properties and estates that our membership is known for.”
Luxury Portfolio’s editors interviewed Randy Fiser, CEO of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), to explore the relationship between interior designers and their clients and the trends driving current home design. Customization and personalization are important to the homeowner who wants a home that complements their active lifestyle.
Lifestyle features in the magazine center on special experiences, from an exotic turmeric treatment at the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan to a visit to Cwart, a unique art space in the Belgian countryside. Ahead of the planned LeadingRE trip to Singapore, the magazine covers some of the city’s most alluring attractions, including an exciting night safari.
The magazine features properties with notable owners, including estates once owned by David Rockefeller, Johnny Carson, Lee Marvin, Katie Couric and Johnny Cash, among others. Additional highlighted properties include a stunning modern architectural in Ghent, N.Y., designed by Narin Sappakit/TECNY Group, Inc.; a lavish masterpiece in Dallas’ elite Preston Hollow enclave; and Villa Ca’ Vendri, an Italian estate surrounded by vineyards and an olive tree grove in Verona, Italy.
This issue also takes a look at high-end markets across the globe, such as Lisbon, Hong Kong and London. LeadingRE chief economist Marci Rossell provides an overview of trends driving the global economy, including what luxury consumers need to know about the growing use of blockchain technology.
